These Moments Thursday
“The Waiting Place…
…for people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
or the mail to come, or the rain to go
or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow
or waiting around for a Yes or a No
or waiting for their hair to grow.
Everyone is just waiting.
Waiting for the fish to bite
or waiting for wind to fly a kite
or waiting around for Friday night
or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake
or a pot to boil, or a Better Break
or a string of pearls, or a pair of pants
or a wig with curls, or Another Chance.
Everyone is just waiting.” ~ dr. suess (oh the places you’ll go)
but, while waiting…
i am happy to be having a little coffee (who knew soy lattes could be so good?!) so at least i can feel antsy while i wait. : )
(Day 8) Twelve Days of Christmas Safe Travels….
I know this one isnt very magical or even pretty per say…..but I know alot of you will be traveling this Christmas and I just wanted to know that you will be safe….in the rain-the fog and the snow…it’s ok to take your time and enjoy the drive….we used to love to go to my grams for Christmas…my sisters and I would read and color in our coloring books…(long long before electronics) pretend we were having conversations but not saying anything just making the motions….it can be a great adventure if you have the time and imagination to give it a go…so have fun and be safe this Holiday Season xo
One of the little gems from this evening’s dog walk. The beginning of the old train tracks by the power lines where I can let Maj off the leash. Soon the Manayunk Bridge, which ends here, will be renovated and this will all be clean and new and full of bikers. Since Major and bikes are a disastrous combination, we will enjoy our time here while we can.
enjoy the moments you get
There are bloggers, twitter twits, facebook stalkers, tumblers, gamers, those who are linkedin, the deviantart crowd, those strange people that are checking in everywhere, the pinheads, and last but not least… the country called Flickr. Sounds like a good start for remaking the “Breakfast Club.” I’ll be Bender!
